TVS Motor Adds Higher-Capacity iQube S 4.7 kWh to Its Electric Scooter Lineup

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new variant of its iQube electric scooter, the iQube S 4.7 kWh, priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition expands the iQube range by offering a larger battery pack compared to the standard version. The new variant is positioned between the existing iQube and iQube ST models, giving customers a middle-ground option with increased range potential.

The iQube S 4.7 kWh is expected to deliver a longer riding range than its smaller-battery counterpart, though exact figures have not been detailed in the announcement. It retains the familiar design and features of the iQube lineup, including a digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, and smart connectivity options. The scooter is aimed at urban commuters seeking a balance between performance and cost.

This launch reflects TVS Motor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in the growing Indian electric two-wheeler market. Competitors such as Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and Bajaj Chetak have also been expanding their portfolios with new variants and improved battery options. By introducing a higher-capacity version at a competitive price point, TVS aims to capture a broader segment of buyers who prioritise range without stepping up to the top-spec model.

The iQube S 4.7 kWh is now available for purchase across TVS dealerships in India. The company has not yet announced whether this variant will be offered in other markets. With the electric scooter segment becoming increasingly crowded, TVS’s move to offer more choices within the iQube family could help it maintain momentum in a rapidly evolving category.
