TVS Launches iQube S with 4.7 kWh Battery, Priced at ₹1.37 Lakh

TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the introduction of a new iQube S variant featuring a 4.7 kWh battery pack. Priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom), this addition aims to provide customers with a longer-range option within the popular iQube series.

The iQube S 4.7 kWh sits alongside existing variants, which include models with 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh batteries. With the larger battery, the scooter is expected to deliver an extended riding range, making it more suitable for daily commuters who cover longer distances. TVS has not yet disclosed the exact range figure for this variant, but industry estimates suggest it could exceed 100 kilometers on a single charge.

This launch comes as electric two-wheeler adoption gains momentum in India, driven by rising fuel prices and government incentives. The iQube has been a strong performer for TVS, consistently ranking among the top-selling electric scooters in the country. By offering multiple battery options, TVS caters to diverse customer needs—from budget-conscious buyers to those seeking maximum range.

Competition in the electric scooter segment is intensifying, with rivals like Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and Bajaj Auto’s Chetak also expanding their portfolios. TVS’s move to introduce a higher-capacity variant underscores its commitment to maintaining a competitive edge. The iQube S 4.7 kWh is now available for booking and delivery at TVS dealerships across India.

With this launch, TVS continues to strengthen its position in the growing electric mobility space, offering a blend of performance, range, and affordability.
