Tesla Rolls Out End-of-Quarter Price Cuts in China as Deliveries Slow

Tesla has introduced a limited-time incentive program in China aimed at boosting sales during the closing weeks of the third quarter. The promotion reduces the price of the Model Y by 10,000 yuan, while the Model 3 gets a 5,000 yuan discount.
The move comes as the automaker’s local delivery figures have been trending downward, prompting the company to stimulate demand before the quarter ends. Such quarter-end pushes are a familiar tactic for Tesla in China, where competition among EV makers remains intense.
The offers apply only during the final stretch of Q3, giving buyers a narrow window to take advantage of the reduced pricing. Tesla has not indicated whether these discounts will extend beyond the current period.
