Stellantis Shuffles European Leadership: Belloni Takes the Helm at FIAT, Abarth and Lancia

Stellantis is reorganising its European brand leadership, handing Arnaud Belloni the dual role of CEO for FIAT, Abarth and Lancia while also naming him Chief Marketing Officer for Europe. The appointment consolidates three storied Italian marques under a single executive, signalling a more coordinated approach to brand strategy across the group’s European operations.

Olivier François, who had led FIAT and served as the company’s global Chief Marketing Officer, will step into a new position as a strategic advisor to Stellantis. The move marks a shift from day-to-day brand management to a broader advisory remit focused on the company’s longer-term direction.

The reshuffle comes as Stellantis continues to navigate a fast-changing European market shaped by electrification, tightening emissions rules and shifting consumer preferences. Bringing marketing and brand leadership closer together under Belloni could help the group sharpen how its Italian brands are positioned against rivals in the compact and premium segments.

For FIAT, Abarth and Lancia — each with a distinct identity — the challenge will be maintaining differentiation while sharing resources. Belloni’s combined mandate suggests Stellantis wants a unified marketing voice in Europe without erasing the character that defines each badge.
