Sona Comstar and DENSO Team Up in Two Joint Ventures for EV and Hybrid Powertrains

Sona Comstar and DENSO have announced the creation of two joint ventures aimed at developing powertrain systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. The partnership brings together an Indian auto component specialist and a major Japanese supplier.

The two companies will pool their engineering resources to work on electrified drivetrain technology, a segment that is drawing heavy investment as automakers expand their EV and hybrid line-ups.
