Solstice to Host Free Webinar on Thermal Materials for ADAS Computing

As automakers push toward centralized, high-performance computing for advanced driver assistance systems, keeping those processors cool has become one of the tougher engineering puzzles. Solstice Advanced Materials is stepping into that conversation with a free webinar aimed at thermal engineers working on next-generation ADAS platforms.
The session, scheduled for Thursday, November 12th at 12pm EST, will examine how advanced thermal interface materials can help manage the heat generated by increasingly dense compute hardware. Rising power loads and strict automotive reliability standards are putting pressure on designers to find smarter ways to move heat away from sensitive components, and the company says its approach focuses on lowering junction temperatures while improving overall system durability.
A central part of the discussion will be a co-engineered thermal architecture that brings together phase change materials, customized heat spreaders and high-conformability gel TIMs. According to Solstice, this combination is designed to create an optimized thermal pathway suited to the demands of modern ADAS computing, where conventional cooling methods can struggle to keep pace.
The webinar will also cover validation results and automotive-grade reliability considerations, alongside the role of system-level thermal integration in supporting long-term performance and manufacturability. Registration is free, and attendees can sign up in advance to watch live or on demand.
The event is part of a broader slate of free virtual sessions focused on EV engineering topics, including a separate talk on advancing battery safety through early thermal runaway detection using Infineon sensors. Those sessions are scheduled to run September 14-17, 2026.
