Panasonic Expands 10 kW Pure Hydrogen Fuel Cell Generator to Europe, Australia and China

Panasonic is taking its 10 kW pure hydrogen fuel cell generator beyond Japan, rolling the product out across Europe, Australia and China. The move marks a step up in the company’s efforts to commercialise hydrogen-based power for stationary applications.

The generator is designed around pure hydrogen rather than reformed fuels, positioning it for businesses and facilities that want on-site power with lower emissions. By targeting multiple overseas markets at once, Panasonic is signalling that it sees hydrogen fuel cells as a viable commercial category rather than a niche experiment.

The timing reflects growing policy and corporate interest in hydrogen as a complement to electrification, particularly where grid power alone is not enough. Panasonic has not disclosed pricing or detailed rollout schedules for the new markets.
