MyMonthlyCar Turns Dealer Lot Inventory Into Month-to-Month Rental Income

A new platform wants to solve two problems at once: dealerships loaded with aging used inventory, and drivers who need a vehicle for more than a few days but less than a lease. MyMonthlyCar, a Florida-based startup registered in Delaware, links local dealers with customers seeking flexible month-to-month rentals.

The co-founding team — Igor Dobrianskyi, Kostiantyn Gitko and Vadym Zotov — all relocated from Ukraine following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war. Dobrianskyi previously ran a rental business in Ukraine and later built SizeCar, a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace that grew into 40 European cities. That experience shaped MyMonthlyCar’s core concept: it only handles monthly rentals, no short-term bookings, and it gives dealers a path to rent-to-own conversions.

The business model skips listing fees entirely. Dealers pay 10% of each transaction, and renters pay a matching 10%. Seven dealerships have signed on for testing while the company works with an insurance broker to build its own coverage program. Dobrianskyi says insurance was the top concern raised by dealers. The first year of operation, expected to begin later this year once the insurance product goes live, targets 100 dealerships, 2,000 monthly rentals and 300,000inrevenue,withafive−yeargoalof300,000 in revenue, with a five-year goal of 42 million.

Bootstrapped so far, the startup intends to pursue a seed round that would fund additional developers and an AI feature to help dealers decide which vehicles in their inventory are best suited for renting at any given moment. MyMonthlyCar has been selected for the 2026 Startup Battlefield 200 and will exhibit at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October.
