Maruti Suzuki Streamlines Lineup: Ritz, Diesel Celerio, WagonR Stingray Axed; Gypsy On Borrowed Time

Maruti Suzuki has quietly discontinued several models in India, including the Ritz, the diesel version of the Celerio, and the WagonR Stingray. The move is part of a broader strategy to simplify its product portfolio and focus on newer, more popular models. The Gypsy, a long-standing off-roader, may also be phased out soon, according to sources. Meanwhile, the Ciaz sedan will be repositioned under the Nexa premium retail channel, joining other upscale models like the Baleno and S-Cross.
