Škoda Epiq Sportline Gets Its First Public Outing at the Paris Motor Show

Škoda is bringing a sportier version of its smallest electric crossover to Paris, where the Epiq Sportline will step in front of a crowd for the first time. The trim builds on the Epiq, a compact battery-electric crossover that now sits at the very bottom of the Czech brand’s EV lineup.
According to Škoda, the Epiq and the newly introduced Peaq flagship have together collected more than 70,000 orders. The two models arrived this year and effectively doubled the company’s battery-electric range, slotting an entry-level option beneath the Elroq and Enyaq while placing a fresh range-topper above them. Škoda’s stated goal is to pull shoppers who have never owned an EV into the fold by stretching its lineup at both the affordable and premium ends.
The order numbers suggest that approach is gaining ground. Placing the Sportline next to the Peaq in the same exhibition space also hints at how important the city-focused crossover has become to the brand’s electric ambitions. Even so, Škoda has kept most details under wraps: only a teaser video has been released so far, with no specifications or pricing attached to the Sportline beyond the styling cues that come with the badge.
Visitors to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will be able to see the Epiq Sportline during the show’s run from 13 to 18 October in Hall 4, where Škoda plans to display 15 vehicles in total — its largest showcase yet for the expanded electric family. Among the other exhibits are the 130 RS racing car, brought out to celebrate 125 years of Škoda Motorsport, and the Peaq Tour de France ‘Red Car’.
The Paris appearance marks a visible step in Škoda’s effort to compete in Europe’s growing entry-level EV segment, where pricing and trim variety often decide whether first-time electric buyers commit.
