iCAUR Expands Boxy Off-Roader Family With V25, Offering Both Range-Extender and Battery-Electric Options

Chinese automaker iCAUR is growing its V-series lineup with the V25, a squared-off all-wheel-drive SUV set to make its debut on 19 October 2026 during the company’s International User Summit in Wuhu, China. The new model slots in alongside the existing V23 and V27, reinforcing the brand’s strategy of building a family of retro-inspired electrified off-roaders.

Buyers will be able to pick between two electrified drivetrain configurations: a battery-electric setup and a range-extender variant that iCAUR markets under the Golden REEV name. Both versions come paired with an intelligent electric all-wheel-drive system. The range-extender option is positioned for drivers who combine everyday commuting with longer trips where charging infrastructure may be less convenient.

Design-wise, the V25 carries forward the series’ signature near-square silhouette and circular headlamps, part of what the brand describes as a Future-Classic aesthetic. Wider tires give the vehicle a more grounded, planted look compared to its siblings. iCAUR is also courting outdoor enthusiasts by emphasizing accessory-friendly features, including open interfaces and modification potential for camping, cycling, towing and other recreational activities. Several customized builds will be displayed at the summit, underscoring the brand’s collaborative approach with its customer base.

What remains undisclosed is significant: power output, battery capacity, driving range, pricing and which markets the V25 will reach. Those details are expected to emerge at the October event, and they will largely determine how competitive the V25 proves against a growing field of boxy electric SUVs.
