Huawei's HIMA Brand Sees February Deliveries Climb 31%, but January Slump Continues

Huawei’s intelligent automotive brand, HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance), reported a notable 31.11% increase in vehicle deliveries for February compared to the same month last year, totaling 28,212 units. The year-on-year growth signals sustained consumer interest in Huawei’s automotive ecosystem, which combines advanced software and hardware integration under the HIMA umbrella.

However, the February figure represents a significant 51.29% drop from January’s deliveries, reflecting typical seasonal fluctuations in the Chinese auto market, compounded by the short Lunar New Year holiday. While the monthly decline is steep, the annual gain underscores the brand’s overall upward trajectory in a competitive EV landscape.

HIMA’s performance is closely watched as it showcases Huawei’s strategy of partnering with automakers to deliver smart vehicles equipped with its HarmonyOS cockpit and autonomous driving technologies. The February numbers, though down month-over-month, reinforce HIMA’s growing footprint in China’s new energy vehicle sector.
