Huawei HIMA August Sales Slip 5.52%, Continuing Three-Month Decline

Huawei’s automotive unit, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), reported 42,101 vehicle deliveries in August. This marks a 5.52% drop compared to the same month last year, extending a downward trend for the third consecutive month. Month-over-month, deliveries were roughly 7% lower than July’s figures.

The ongoing slump reflects broader market pressures and possibly intensifying competition in China’s new energy vehicle sector. Despite the recent declines, HIMA remains a significant player, leveraging Huawei’s technology and brand appeal in the automotive space.

Industry analysts are closely watching whether HIMA can reverse the trend in the coming months, especially with the launch of new models and the upcoming peak sales season. The company’s performance will be a key indicator of its resilience in a highly competitive market.
